“When the Political Junkie was a regular part of NPR's Talk of the Nation I always wished I could hear it more often. And while I miss Talk of the Nation (a lot), I'm thrilled that Ken has continued the Political Junkie. Better still, the podcast format allows him to do longer interviews, deeper analysis and more bad jokes. For anyone who enjoys or is interested in US politics, this show is unique in the coverage and insight it gives to state and federal politics. As a host and interviewer, I find Ken's approach to be balanced -- he's not banging the drum for any one political party on individual. Can't recommend enough -- only way this could be better is if Neal Conan would join the podcast the odd time to bring back a bit of the banter.”
