A newsman, a political encyclopedia, a punnist--Panama!
Yes, the concept is as dissonant as a literary review with a fart joke on every other page, but Ken makes it work. He has the circuitry to retain minute trivia (e.g. who won the race for dogcatcher in Poughkeepsie in 1948), the integrity and savvy to engage veteran pols and journos mindfully, and the Huma to maintain just enough levity to keep listeners from drifting off yet not at the expense of the conversation--a perfect blend of erudite vivisection and goofy yuks.

More reviews of Ken Rudin's Political Junkie
