Perfect companion to the show
I watched Kevin on Netflix, a few years after it aired. I was so grateful to find this podcast the accompany the episodes since I was trying not to get spoiled on the entire series. Great analysis and conversation. I’m equally sad that the show is finished, as is podcast. Each episode had thoughtful conversation on the real-world implications of these topics, as well as analysis of the script/ acting choices/ set and light dressing and many other elements of the show. The interviews were also very enlightening. Thank you both for the amazing coverage over the two seasons!! With the new eyes on Kevin can f himself, maybe you guys can make a few new episodes? Perhaps discussing specific episodes or overarching themes/ characters/ etc with different people. I know personally I heard a few takes that I disagreed with. For example, I wonder if Alison’s mom wasn’t the Kevin- maybe her dad was, and living with him and his big dreams and schemes were what made her so hardened. Just a thought. Maybe you guys can continue the conversation? Either way this podcast was a must-listen. Five stars!
