It is good to see more coming out regarding WW1 movies. It is a subject that I feel is left out from the movie industry compared to WW2. These two men do a very good job in describing the movies and the back story of what happened in the war during the period of the movie to give the listener a better idea of the real who, what, when, where, and why.

Did he seriously say Chester Nimitz had a huge ego? I’ve overlooked quite a few inaccurate comments, but this is just ridiculous. Admiral Nimitz was famously genteel and humble. I’ve listened to James Early on the “History Unplugged Podcast” many times over the years. His episodes are always interesting and funny, and I cannot wait to dive into his own podcast now. James is a standard-bearer for history podcast listeners.
