“I think the concept here is a lot of fun and some of the stories quite entertaining. It’s well-produced and the guests have interesting insights, but the stilted dialogue between the hosts makes the show almost unlistenable. Most of the jokes rely on well-established comedic tropes but are delivered with such rigidity and so little charisma that they land like sucker punches from a fully-costumed, severely iron-deficient Mickey Mouse baking in the Anaheim sun.
I am familiar with the hosts from their appearances on CBB and Hollywood Handbook, on which I have generally enjoyed their work. I do not think, however, I can continue to support this endeavor.”
