“Jacob (5) and Lani (turns 3 tomorrow) LOVE all of your stories. They’ve listened to every single one and love how silly they are! ❤️ They spent about 2 hours coming up with their own story about two dancing crabs:
There were two silly dancing crabs named Jersey & Tayo that lived on the bottom of the ocean in a shipwreck. Jersey & Tayo crabs loved to dance to their favorite song called Cha-Cha Slide. The only song they had on their magic crab iPod was Cha-Cha Slide and it made them so happy that they danced whenever they heard it. One day, a sneaky octopus named Jelly stole the crabs’ magic iPod with their favorite song on it from Jersey & Tayo and they thought that they could never dance again, which made them so sad. Jelly the octopus buried the crabs’ iPod underground on an island far away, like hidden pirate treasure. The island was called Crab Island because there were so many crabs there. Jersey and Tayo were so sad that they couldn’t dance to their favorite song anymore, so they dug a super long tunnel under the ocean to Crab Island to try to find their iPod. When they finally reached Crab Island, Jersey and Tayo saw their crab cousins named Sandy and Monkey Bear. All four of the crab cousins worked together to dig holes in the sand on Crab Island to try to find the iPod so they could dance to the Cha-Cha slide again and be so happy with their long-lost crab cousins! 🦀 The End!”
