“I’m so thankful to have found this podcast! My son Monty, aged 4, is obsessed. We listen to the stories for *hours* while quarantining at home. He loves the podcast so much, it has now become his incentive (i.e. “if you finish all your vegetables Monty, I’ll let you listen to your podcast”)! We love all the creative, fun, and varied stories. It has helped spark new interests, and also initiated conversations ranging from solar eclipses to Lysol spray to Ubers!
Monty’s story idea, as interpreted by mom:
-Monty, his mom, and bonus dad (stepdad) moved to a new house with a new backyard and a garden. Monty missed his friends from preschool, so he built a robot friend using all of his mom’s empty Amazon boxes. He painted the box robot and left it outside to dry overnight. When Monty woke up the next morning, the box robot was gone! He went to the garden, and saw that his robot had magically come to life, and was helping his mom in the garden
-Bad guys in the story: “bad guy squirrels dressed as pirates” who steal the vegetables from the garden
-The squirrels end up being scared of the robot and the robot is the only way to stop them. The robot becomes a scarecrow robot to help protect and defend the garden.
The end. 😂”
