Alright….
Alright…. so I have noticed a recent trend with Wondery. Just because a person has led a very interesting life, has an interesting story, or is successful in their field, does NOT mean they should be given a podcast to narrate! Story telling takes finesse, good voice tone and cadence, and needs to feel natural. The Apology Line, ManSlaughter, and now this podcast all should not be podcasts for this reason. OR, choose a different narrator to tell their stories. It’s getting ridiculous and laughable at this point. Someone over at Wondery is failing at their job. I give it 3 stars instead of 1 because it’s not Candice’s fault- someone should have told her no.

So excited this amazing woman finally has her own podcast!! We’ve followed & watched Candice DeLong for years, and have always found her insight so fascinating! Her delivery is always perfect…easy to listen to, and spot on eloquence & grammatical finesse.

I started listening to this podcast as I wanted to learn more about the psychological aspect of high-profile criminals. But this is very weak on the psychology. There’s almost no analysis, it’s all “he’s a psychopath, he’s a sociopath, he’s a narcissist” with going into any depth.
