Lack of feeling and insensitive
I only listened to one episode, the Dena Schlosser episode, and I have no interest in listening to any more. I found the narrators comments on religion and mental health insensitive. She claimed she wanted to do this episode for the sake of mental health advocacy, but there was no information that was beneficial provided. She lacked sympathy with sufferers and I felt little research was done for this episode. This is a case that can be discuss how to prevent similar incidents, but I did not hear much about that. Any mother can suffer from post partum psychosis even without a physical injury or a history of mental illness. She said she found this case disturbing, and she may have, but I did not feel genuine emotion from her. I felt the majority of the episode was spent calling others stupid. This may not have been her intention or opinion but it was how it came off to me.
