“Super sad story. Poor speech audio which would’ve been okay except they went overboard with soundtrack & sound effects so loud & distracting it makes listening to actual dialogue even more difficult to hear. If it weren’t such a good story I’d stop listening because of that. Podcasters use this podcast as example of what NOT to do.”

“This a good story and a great cause, to back up Crystal who received the heaviest sentence possible as a teenager without any investigation.
But most of the phone audios where lower than the background music. Fix it for the future listeners.”

“This story is told well, but it is so one sided. Plus, when she talks about what she *did*, she uses passive language ie “the g*n went off”… NO YOU CAUSED IT TO. I don’t like when stories are so one sided. (Obviously he can’t tell his side but i hope you understand what I mean.)”
