“UPDATE: I’ve been listening to 2 other dark tower related podcasts for my read through of some dark tower adjacent books, and I have to say it has only increased my appreciation of the work these guys do. The other podcasts are interesting and informative, but no other podcast approaches the level of detail or depth of analysis this series has. Additionally, I’m further appreciative of the fact that Scott and Matt’s analysis always starts with, and comes back to, the text. There may be discussions of real world factors or hypotheses about characters’ psychological motivations, but ultimately the analysis always comes back to what is in the text and how that does or does not support their thoughts. Much appreciated guys.

I’ve listened to the 1st episode of several dark tower podcasts recently. These guys have the best analysis in my opinion.
I understand the need to avoid spoilers but I’d love to see one “spoiler” episode per book that discusses the book in light of the full completed series.”

“Having read and re-read, listening to a multi time reader and a first timer is rather enjoyable. Though Matt’s hypothesis that the world moved on due to an AI related event is going to keep me up. Certainly worth your time.”
