Discussing how things like the character’s psychology (to a point), experiences had through their time affects episodes/Series in the future. They are not looking for a complete neatly marked Through-Line, just if they see one, will talk on/about it.
A bit of an episode breakdown, not necessarily scene-by-scene.
They talk about character plot points and developments in the small scale from an isolated episode and from a non-nerdy standpoint like Spock, how very early episodes can influence storyline writers of more Modern episodes, how some characters are, in their view very underdeveloped, had missed opportunities example of Dr Soran in film Generations despite being a top actor.
They stretch out and have fun between themselves, have a friendly jibe at listeners and their comments about the pre-flagged ‘episodes’.
