Genealogies & Covenant theology
Enjoying listening to the podcast as I do dishes while my kids nap. I was rather struck, however, on your recent discussion of genealogies when Jen commented that they show that God cares for the individual but you all did not discuss that the very nature of a genealogy shows how much God cares for, and has always worked through, families. Perhaps this truth, a very foundation to covenant theology is why genealogies are included in scripture.
