Smart, funny, with punk rock
Wow, no reviews? Henwood is incisive and has great guests. Of course, his perspective is no secret, but he's far more subtle and informed than the average talking head on the left or right - take, most obviously, his objection to Naomi Klein's simplistic reading of international finance. For those with an interest in social justice but conscious that the world is a very complicated place, this is the show.

Doug Henwood must be a well-trained radio host- his shows are fascinating, easy to listen to but very insightful. Usually two interviews per 1 hour episode, sometimes a 1-interview special, with a musical break halfway through. I wish more podcasts would adopt this approach- it makes it much...Read full review »
