Ugh. Ads. Shilling. Interruptions.
Dropping this one. In order to get a bit of info that’s specific to my native state, and because I go out of my way to get a broad range of viewpoints from my news sources, this centrist has long endured the extreme left tone of this podcast’s content, as well as its increasing reliance on folks whose verbal articulation skills are marginal at best. But now, the numerous promotions of other shows, begging for financial support, and interruptions have become so intrusive, that I’m pretty much done. One minute of intro ads, an ad break after a minute or two of content (really? it’s only a few minutes long!), and then another 2+ minutes of ads at the end. Again, they’re only delivering 6-7 minutes of actual content! It’s such an unpleasant listen that I just find myself avoiding it altogether. So why subscribe at all?
