“Firstly, “Unrivaled” portrays the show as a good Utah/BYU split opinion show, which is not remotely true. Mitchell is unquestionably a Ute homer which would be fine if the opposite side of the coin is represented, but Kirry does zero to ever push back and comes off as a Ute partisan himself more times than not. And they’ve just been so woefully behind the news cycle on every issue, that I don’t know what fresh perspective or analysis they bring to anything. Sometimes they have good guests and they’re not the worst by any means, but the show has an overall feel of low-level talent who see themselves as the premier talk show in the market, and there’s an undeserved arrogance to their presentation, especially given the lack of original thought presented on much of anything”
