“Summary: This podcast is sharp, hilarious, poignant, and SO wonderfully nerdy. Perfect for both longtime X-Files fans and cautious newbies; I can’t recommend it enough.
I had missed this entire podcast when it was originally posted, but I credit it as one of the things that buoyed my spirits during the first year of the pandemic. I have loved getting to hear about the X-Files through someone who enjoys it for so many of the same reasons that it absolutely captivated me as a kid. What a welcome surprise to get to relive something I’ve loved for my whole life in an otherwise bleak season. It inspired my coworkers to rewatch the series and introduce our interns to the show. We now have newly minted Philes and, of course, Mr. Nanjiani has gained a few more fans.
Dear Kumail- Congratulations on so many truly awesome accomplishments these last several years! My friends and I think you and Emily are just the best. Someday, if the time is right and you feel like it, we’d love to hear you talk about Seasons 4 1/2, 5, and 6 (and of course any other episodes… we’re here for it). You know, someday.
