Unfiltered Must Listen
Thank you for this unsanitized deep dive into the history of what really happened to Canada’s First Nation people at residential schools. The unfiltered personal accounts of abuse, the far reaching effects of that abuse and the extensive research into the past makes this podcast a must listen for any settler. Duncan, and your team, you demonstrate compassion and journalistic integrity as you navigate difficult conversations and emotions while continuing the dive toward buried truth. We all need to know so we can understand and heal.

I don’t know why I’m so bored with this podcast. It’s an interesting topic, and eye opening. However, I can’t stop daydreaming and getting sleepy while listening to it.

A must listen for all Canadians. There is always more to be learned from survivors sharing, and as uncomfortable as it is to hear, imagine having lived it, or having lost a loved one.
