Exceptional
This is an incredible journey. Duncan delicately tells this raw and real story with incredible respect and dignity. It is pretty rough at times, but something we should all listen to. This is one of many stories about this very dark chapter of residential schools, but Duncan takes the time to pull on all the threads he uncovers, finding new information, and reframing old information in a way that tells the story through today’s lens. Very moving. I’m grateful that this window exists for us to see this story, and that Duncan et al did such a good and honest job showing it to us.
