“Been listening to this podcast for what has to be a few years now and have really seen personal growth in myself from a leadership perspective, but also from a personal “zen/happy/peace” perspective. When I started listening I started to personally pick up on my flaws as a leader, but as I kept listening, I started to feel more comfortable asking and taking tough criticism, that was constructive but I felt that I avoided because I didn’t want any criticism.
As I get ready for a challenging season ahead, I find myself in an intense season and growth and I plan on following the steps outlined on the Pod. I started reaching out to experts in my field just last week.
I’m really grateful for Doug. I honestly found this pod because I was so upset with my leaders at the time (the higher ups above me) and I wanted a pod that would inspire me to stop me gossiping, losing a passion for what I do, and actually help me find the fire to help me carry out our mission statement to the best of my abilities in - a rising tide lifts all boats.
