It’s been a year since Freeda and Immortelle first met. Immortelle faces health challenges after she had been diagnosed with Legionaire’s disease. Freeda quickly leaves her homeland and flies to Paris to visit Immortelle. Freeda is also recovering after her knee surgery. Fragility and loneliness of both women makes them question relationships, soul mates, love and friendship as well as explore the meaning behind their real names.
