Oh, this was good. The first episode I listened to was the Malcom Gladwell one. I heard his audiobook a few months back and was compelled by the chapter he devoted to Amanda’s case study. Now, the tables have turned and we get to hear Amanda’s own perspective on Gladwell’s analysis, in addition to a thoughtful discussion between the two. I see lots of potential for thoughtful and nuanced discussions for this series.

I was disappointed with the first episode and will not be listening in the future. The hosts came across as though they thought they were above a cruise holiday, not grateful for their gift and grudgingly went on the holiday which clearly was beneath them.
