“Okay, all the people ripping them apart over the cruise episode- listen up! Many, many people who have had the privilege to travel the world over, do not consider cruising to be travel. Because it isn’t, and unless you’ve traveled, you won’t understand why they or me say that.
If that’s all you can afford, by all means. But cruises are gross. You stay in dorm room type accommodations, eat nasty buffet style food, swim with a thousand other people, and see the most ridiculous and sad touristy ports where the third world people con you into buying over priced junk.
Cruises are for Walmart people. Upgrade yourself and actually travel.”
