Due to our innate nature, we don't value things that are given in abundance to us. "Breath" is what separates us from the deceased. We regrettably take it for granted. Once we start paying attention to each breath, we recognize its infinite potential. It's something that our ancient yogis and philosophers discovered long back. Pranayama is the regulation of the breath through certain techniques and exercises such as kapalbhati, ujjayi, bhastrika, nadi-shuddhi, etc. Life is breath...breath is life.
