“This one is hard for me to enjoy because the sound levels are all over the place. I listen to podcasts on my daily bus ride and typically have no problem finding a comfortable volume level.
With this show my hand was constantly on the volume button, one moment I can barely hear the actor and in the next I am blasted with overly loud sfx or over eager acting. For example, when the ranger is interviewing the survivor I can not hear her even at top volume, the survivor yells and I can’t adjust the volume quickly enough then I miss what the ranger says. It’s very difficult to enjoy. I will give season 2 a shot to see if they get it normalized a little, if not I will have to stop listening.”

“A nice fun cheesy romp in the woods. Enjoying it so far, but the quiet vocals and massively loud sound effects mean turning the volume up for the talky talks is necessary and immediate tinnitus is often the result of a loud sound effect appearing out of nowhere...”
