“Carl Jackson’s podcast popped up in my library somehow. 🤷🏻♀️ First episode I heard was the special Memorial Day show, and I loved hearing important stories from US history that we weren’t taught in school. More, please! Next I listened to Mr. Jackson’s 5/27 take on the multifaceted failures that exacerbated the Uvalde school tragedy. He’s the first I’ve heard to go beyond the knee-jerk push to blame police, and police only. His approach is open-minded, smart and healthy.”
