Content good but quality iffy
I’ve started from the beginning days of this podcast in recent months and have been obsessively making my way through the years from oldest to newest (currently in the high 300s episodes so still a ways to go). Since I’m dating and in my 50s I obviously also hope to hit my last first date soon, think I’m getting warmer or have arrived but still there’s much to learn about keeping a relationship and thriving once you find one. So there’s much to mine here in this content that is so good, however it often gets lost in the clunkiness of the presentation. I was thinking it was just early days stuff that would go away but I’m into many years of her doing this now and still I am hearing: bad audio quality, the cheesiest sounding intro with her son’s voice/song, her often interrupting guests with her own story I’ve heard too many times, or in general just alway talking over and creating this awkward moment for the guest instead of just letting the guest shine and being a good listener as a host should. There’s my two cents. I’m obviously still listening bc it’s valuable but I do sometimes want to offer some advice to give it some polish and keep the interjecting of herself in check. Thanks!
