Brilliant idea, but bad delivery.
I downloaded a bunch of these, getting excited about the concept - but after trying four separate shows, I just can’t listen to any more. Not only do the contributors use the worst microphones in history, but there’s background music playing constantly through the reviews. It’s very hard to hear, and very hard to get attached to them - as the music is almost as loud as them. Worst of all is the constant laughter. It’s so bad. They say three words and both laugh. It’s not even as if anything they’re laughing at is funny. Is it a nervous laugh? I don’t think so, as it’s continues through all the episodes I heard. One says a line, which is delivered while laughing. The other then laughs. Then they both laugh. And laugh some more. About something that wasn’t even funny. Then they’ll mumble another sentence, while laughing. Repeat endlessly. It’s quite possibly one of the best concepts I’ve come across, delivered dreadfully. Even the inserted clips are badly edited, badly chosen (on the 4 I listened to), often irrelevant, badly inserted, and usually end with the presenters laughing. Again. Avoid. There are some really good podcasts out there - but this isn’t one of them.

Nice to find a podcast with a different podcast! I'd recommend starting with the episodes on TV shows you're interested in and then go from there! Great for fans of the shows or TV in general! Subscribe!Read full review »

A really interesting way to go back and look at shows by going back to the original pilots. Even a good listen when I didnt already know the show well!

The premise of this podcast is great: talk about the pilots of TV shows over the years. The hosts are very easy to listen to. Unfortunately, under their discussion, they constantly play a really short loop of music that moves quickly from distracting to annoying. I also find that sometimes...Read full review »
