“This show has become an essential part of my weekly podcast mix and each new episode goes straight to the top of my playlist. The chaps provide a broad and useful survey of the development news (perfect for those like me who don't really have time to keep up to date with FD's Elite: Dangerous forums [though I wish I could!]). In addition they cast an entertaining eye over the newsletters and other Frontier comms, and generally chat about all things Elite in an engaging and amusing way. The specialised writer's interview episodes have got me very interested in buying some or all of the fiction when it comes out, plus they have a new stream of shows under the "Conclave" banner offering a round table chat from the movers and shakers in the space trading world. I recommend the spin-off audio drama "Escape Velocity" too, which takes some familiar sci-fi tropes but mixes them up into something distinctively Elite.
Something else I should mention is that I really admire the team's commitment and hard work - I make it 21 episodes (including Escape Velocity) since they kicked off in late Feb. They're doing a great job of sustaining and building upon that special community spirit from the Kickstarter comments thread which entertained so many of us a while back.
To sum up then, it's full marks and many thanks from me. See you out there on the frontier next spring!”
