“I’m 25 episodes in, cherry picking bands I know, sprinkling in the chronological (& able to stand on their own episodes) too. This show covers so much! How bands are made of people. What the industry can do to and for a musician. How time and location factor into the creative process (the wannabe anthropologist in me loves that bands & sounds are now logged as an oral history. The last show I saw//near me only had 1 band (of 6) I actively enjoy but the available interviews from Shane were the perfect supplement to previewing music of genres not usually in my rotation.”
