Josh Sutchar on Building a Mission-Based Business + Cultivating the Culture of Teamwork
Description
Josh Sutchar, Co-Founder of TrainHeroic and ex-NCAA football player, joins us today. We’re grateful to connect with people like Josh with a shared vision of elevating the health & fitness industry.
Tune in to today’s episode of Leaders in Sport to learn more about the TrainHeroic story and their vision for the future. Josh talks about his athletic career, how he came to understand the importance of strength & conditioning, and the hole he & his business partner saw in the market for TrainHeroic.
More about Josh: As Co-founder of TrainHeroic, Josh has been on a mission to make an impact and elevate the lives of coaches since 2011. Prior to TrainHeroic, Josh played football at the University of San Diego and was lucky enough to be coached by strength coach Shannon Turley (Stanford) and Stephane Rochet (US Navy.) There, he quickly realized how impactful strength and conditioning were on human and athletic development. Today, Josh leads TrainHeroic’s Sales Team, learns from TrainHeroic’s internal team, coaches, and customers, and does his best to train like he’s still playing ball. He’s been waiting patiently since 2009 for the phone to ring with the NFL commissioner announcing he’s been drafted, and we just don’t have the heart to tell him to give it up.
