“Wow, I so wanted to love this -I'm trying to learn some Portuguese for an upcoming trip to Portugal & know a decent amount of Spanish & a little Italian, a few words of Portuguese from a past trip to Brazil (but 20 years ago). I was thrilled at the billing of beginner or survival phrases, but then the delivery is just insanely ridiculous. They draaaagggh ooouuuttt basic words so much it's actually harder to follow & thentheyspeedallupsomuchitstotallyimpossible the other way. I listen to different quickie language podcasts or audiobooks for any country I go to (trying to get just a bit at least from Turkish to Czech to Thai to German) & this is the most useless podcast I've encountered. And I am only writing this scathing review because they seem to be trying so hard & could improve it very easily. Just speed up the slllooooww a bit & slow down the normal -and then don't repeat so much! We all have 30 sec rewind, pause etc.
An entire session to learn just 2 or 3 simple words/phrases???”
