“I am trying to learn some basic Punjabi as my neighbours speak it. Whilst the younger family members all speak English, I would like to be able to speak with the older generations.
This podcast is not really suited to absolute beginners, but it is really useful to learn about the different ways Punjabi speakers say things colloquially and I would listen more once I have a better understanding of the basics, however, the downside for me is that the host users swear words in his general taking, like when he makes a mistake.
I know most people think this is acceptable, but I really find it unnecessary and it means I cannot share this podcast with my daughter.”
