However, there are many other connectors that are commonly used in our daily conversations. Let's take a quick lesson on how to build complex sentences with the eight connectors in Thai.
แต่ dtàae (but), แต่อย่างไรก็ตาม (dtàe yàang-rai gôr-dtaam)
และ láe (and)
เพราะ próh (because)
ดังนั้น dang-nán, เพราะฉะนั้น próh-chà-nán (formal "so"), เลย loey (casual "so")
แม้ว่า máe-wâa (eventhough), แต่ก็ยัง dtàe-gôr-yang......อยู่ yùu (but still)
ไม่งั้น mái-ngán (otherwise)
ถ้า tâa (if)
ทั้งๆที่ táng-táng-tîi (despite)
