Reading auf Deutsch is such a release. I don't really know what it is about it, but I get pleasure and a sense of relaxing for the time I'm reading. I'm half way through that book for beginners learning to read and comprehend in German. It was such a a surprise when I first discovered this book. I had know idea that teachers sought to simplify learning a foreign language 100 years ago. While it is by no means simple as I think of simple in today's definition, it is easy enough for a student of my level to understand without too much looking up words in the dictionary. 7.
