“I enjoy hearing Abby’s perspective. I think for years, a lot of the fans of the show have uplifted and dismissed all the horrible things Christi has said and done, and only held Abby accountable. Bad things were said and done all around by every adult cast member, and I do think in the end, Abby is the only one blamed by the general media. I think Abby deserves a platform to speak her mind, since Christi has a huge hold over the dance moms fandom, and largely controls the narratives. I’m happy other cast members are speaking, and I don’t think we should silence their lived experiences. I listen to both this and BTTB, and I think objectively speaking, this podcast does a much better job at discussing behind the scenes and revealing new information.”
