“I grew up dancing casually as my parents couldn’t afford for me to compete but that was my dream as a kid. So likewise I lived vicariously through the girls on the show. Pretending I was them- jumping around the living room of my parents house pretending I was trained by Abby. This was AMAZING. I quite literally had chills when Abby gives advice to the young men and women! I would kill to meet Abby. I was the kid that bought all the ALDC merch online with my own money that I would wear to dance classes twice a week and pretend that I was being trained by Abby. No offense to my dance teachers - they were amazing. I was the least flexible kid, couldn’t jump to save my life, but I would pretend that I could jump like Nia and had the facial features of Maddy. I would love to be on the podcast! I started taking dance because I was going to fail out of Pre School because I couldn’t stand on one foot!”
