“Imagine, for just a moment, that Dennis Miller, John Stewart, John Hodgman, and Sarah Silverman sat down and just chatted about World of Warcraft and you'll have some idea of what Legendary Thread is like. I listen to a few WoW podcasts, and I get different things from from the different podcasts, but this is the one that keeps me constantly smiling and quite often literally laughing out loud.
These are people who enjoy playing the game the same way you and I do. They are also real human beings with real lives outside of WoW and consequently the absurdity of the whole thing isn't lost on them. They are intelligent, terribly quick witted, and just downright entertaining.
There have been changes since the podcast started, I greatly miss the "Scarab Lord," but Karen's infectious laugh is kinda the steadfast glue maintaining familiarity.
Here's hoping for a couple hundred programs before they burn out, and if you haven't, do yourself a favor and listen to the podcasts starting with the first 1. They're a hoot.”
