Give Matt Piper his own show
As a Leicester fan living elsewhere in the UK, it’s great to have this pod to find out more about how the games unfolded and the latest goings on at LCFC. Matt Piper is such an upgrade on Matt Elliott and Alan Young, and an even an upgrade on the two main BBC voices. Ian Stringer and Owen Palmer-Atkin’s love for LCFC is to be admired, but their excessive banter is tiresome and frankly rubbish. It’s nice that they have fun doing the show but too much of it is taken up by their egos and sometimes it’s simply unlistenable. Some of their behaviour is so small-time. Piper however is great. I find him genuinely insightful and interesting. He’s in tune with both the technicalities and tactics of modern football as well as the emotions of the fans. He balances it very well. Radio Leicester should give him a solid co-host and producer and make that Monday show his each week.

One of the highlights of my week listening from down here in NSW, Australia. Could only be happier if it was a daily podcast. Oh, and let's keep it to the Foxes only can we? Not in the least bit interested in the Tigers, thanks. The clue is in the podcast name, surely? Keep up the great work...Read full review »
