“serena has a very niche sense of humor and generally constructs her bits around the same sort of... upscale NYC social/dating life vibe (the kind of thing that appeals to teens interested in the extravagant NYC young adult experience), so if you find yourself annoyed with that, this pod is not for you. i will admit, as someone who is a native and not just living for college there are certain icks, but it’s all just part of her thing so i let it slide.
her recent guest was a little too loud and eager and didn’t bounce off of her very well, but the solo pods are so effortlessly clever and funny. i just love her voice and inflection- it’s rare that i have the attention span for a full podcast without breaks, so i’m glad i stumbled upon this one.”
