“I’m generally all for a one person podcast and was really enjoying this one at first. I’m currently only at episode 6 and can’t help myself screaming in frustration.
I get that if you’re not particularly versed in history and the customs, some of the themes etc might be completely foreign. Would it kill the dude to just look stuff up? He’s constantly questioning things, it would be far more beneficial to his audience to research and give context to the show.
He seems like a nice guy, but whether you know a lot about period dramas or not, you’re not going to get much out of this show.”
