Description
To form those legendary bodybuilder physiques, athletes have long relied on hard work, good food and lots of drugs.
But not everyone takes this path.
Created as a counter-movement to conventional bodybuilding, the category of natural bodybuilding places the focus on building muscle without performance-enhancing substances like anabolic steroids, growth hormone, insulin and SARMs.
But in their quest to celebrate muscle without chemistry, some contests ban anyone who’s had too many Frapuccinos.
Today Australian natural bodybuilder, father and coach Aaron Iron Curtis joins us to talk about getting banned from natural bodybuilding contests after testing positive for Jack3ed, a popular caffeinated pre-workout drink.
At the time of his ban Aaron was one of the front runners in natural bodybuilding and to this day he remains performance enhancing drug free.
