Takes me back to late night drives to base with Mr Cooke for company
Great memories After leaving my then German girlfriend’s parents house, late evening drives back to the RAF base at Gutersloh was never a chore with Alastair as company for the journey. Sometimes, I’d remain sat in my car outside the accommodation block until he’d finished. It’s the least his masterful monologues deserved.

Particularly for those who remember the originals. One minor criticism - the 2 hour programme is slightly repetitious as regards introducing the guest commentators, for example. This doesn't detract from the content much & the whole set is worth the 5 stars overall.Read full review »
