Not your typical grammar podcast - superior to the rest
When you survey the landscape of podcasts on the general subject, you have the very commercial grammar girl, the Lopate guest, some others, and these satisfy a certain niche. But you expect more of Slate and you get it. Well thought out, not your casual get-together in a basement with a microphone; tough topics, no shirking from controversies; and remarkably smart personalities. This is a pleasure to listen to and learn from.
