Hard to listen to
I never leave podcast reviews but I listened to the episode ‘covid confessions’ and it really upset me. Her personal experiences and struggles with mental health during covid are valid, but she spoke with such incredible privilege while talking about going to huge parties and seeing friends. How can she, a white woman, talk about going to George Floyd and Black Lives Matter protests and continue on putting herself (and therefore others, ESPECIALLY bipoc/poc) at risk by going out??? It hurts to hear her grappling with whether or not to be safe from her nice Brooklyn apartment where she can work and attend school from home when so many people have no choice whether to put themselves at risk. If I could be in her situation I would be so grateful. It sounds like you want to do better and have good intentions so I hope you understand why this is so upsetting to listen to.
