Her voice is so annoying
One or two good episodes. And those were good because the guests on those episodes were so engaging and knowledgeable. But mostly it’s so amateurishly produced (audio quality is terrible. Hello, it’s a podcast!! Why such shoddy audio??) And Amy’s voice is not strong enough for audio work. It sounds like she’s always on the verge of crying and choking back sobs. Mind you, she’s not crying, her voice just sounds like that. I also had to stop listening to at least three episodes because the people she was interviewing were clearly off their rockers. Does she research any of these nuts? And she barely asks any questions. She sounds so detached. Like she doesn’t know anything about her guest. Why have them on? The episode with the lady who discussed angels was a train wreck. She literally was so bored and had such little knowledge of the subject. Also, she constantly allows dead air...she doesn’t know the subject matter enough, or is just uninterested, and says nothing. Dead air. She doesn’t know how to interview and move the conversation along. Save yourself the effort and skip this podcast. There are way better available.
