“I get that pastors are passionate about their message but I don’t think it’s necessary or pleasant to hear them raise the volume on their voice the entire message. For emphasis I can understand but when it goes on for minutes with no end in sight, I tune out. You’ve lost me. I can no longer listen. I grew up in a household with a lot of yelling and shouting and when I hear shouting the message is no longer meaningful for me. The entire message is lost because of the delivery. I won’t know for sure until I get to heaven but I doubt Jesus shouted at his followers.”
