“LOVE this podcast SO SO much! I suffered a brain injury seven years ago and appear more that less fully able. Despite appearing completely able I’m 56% impaired, made up of reduced vision, numbness down my left side, headaches and some cognitive issues with multitasking and planning etc. I actually advocated for the disabled label while I was still in hospital as I never looked down on those with disability so now it was my chance to show people what a disabled person can be and do. I face discrimination occasionally, am socially excluded and struggle with depression as my able friends make no effort to enable me to live the life I did for 24years prior to injury. Should be mandatory listening for every high school kid in the world as inclusion destructs bulling and exclusion due to being of different abilities.”
