“I’ve been listening to this podcast for a little over 7 months now and in that time I’ve gone through all their released episodes, some of them more than once, and I’ve never not found myself cracking up or being washed over in silence as I listened to their insightful takes. Recently, they released their first episode that went without spoilers and I will admit I was very weary at this change. I feared that without going into a deep dive of the book, the podcast would lose my attention entirely and I’d be without my favorite form of work time entertainment. You could imagine my relief of course when I listened to the episode on Deacon King Kong and still felt as if I was in a room with two close friends listening to them laugh and discuss a book, which piqued my interest enough to, for the first time, actually go out and buy one of the books they were discussing. I’m not sure what the future holds for these two women, but I do know that as long as they’re releasing episodes I’ll be subscribed and reading along.”
