“Hey there, just want to say how glad I am that I have found your podcast. As a new listener I’m having so much fun as I listen to your back catalog of podcasts. I particularly love the one on the story part one and two of Mary Bennett the other Bennett sister. I too was a tad frustrated with the last third of the book and yes, the expectation that Mr. sparrow was going literally going to swoop in at any time was threatening like a rain cloud the whole time. I’m glad he didn’t, but I found even just the convenient spotting of him in the street after his graduation just shouldn’t have been there as it didn’t have add Anything much to the story. It just felt like some editor I told the author that she’d better throw it in. But it did feel very fake in terms of the relative subtlety of the rest of the book. I really like your insights into some of the writing and appreciate when you expressed the differences in your opinions. It’s done with mutual respect, but with a lot of sass. I just find you a great company. I feel like I’ve got you sitting around having a cup of tea in my kitchen chatting about books and just having some fun and laughter. Thank you so much.”
